Teddy Santis & New Balance Announce MADE in USA Season 2

Only a month after dropping the last style from MADE in USA Season 1, New Balance and creative director Teddy Santis announce the launch of MADE in USA Season 2.

Releasing throughout Fall/Winter 2022, Season 2 of MADE in USA features an outdoor-inspired collection executed through color and materialization across both footwear and apparel. To continue honoring the 40th anniversary of the 990 silhouettes, the footwear will once again focus on the 990v1, 990v2, and 990v3, while the apparel will feature wardrobe staples such as hoodies, crewnecks, sweatpants, and tees.

“We’re excited to further showcase the heritage and craftsmanship that is New Balance Made in USA,” says Teddy Santis. “I’m proud to continue our ongoing partnership and highlight the rich history of this category and continue to push the brand’s momentum further through seasonal campaigns and stories that have yet to be told.”

Like the first drop from Season 1, the first drop of Season 2 includes a 990v1, 990v2, and 990v3, as well as apparel. Each come in a green, navy, and tan color scheme inspired by an original colorway of the New Balance 576. Subsequent footwear launches weave in juniper and maple to continue the outdoor theme, while also including bolder colors for more limited, quickstrike offerings.

Season 2’s apparel adds long-sleeve thermals to complement the wardrobe classics, incorporating rich oak and midnight green seasonal colorways into the full assortment. Future drops include updated graphic tee shirts.
