New Balance threw an event June 11th in the Meat Packing District in Lower Manhattan in honor of their “BE YOU. BE 1” customization options for the iconic 998 silhouette.
The event brought out all types, from hard-core sneakerheads to internet celebrities to models (Adrianne Ho was in attendance, be jealous every last one of you). The customization possibilities were displayed on iMacs throughout the space, and if you’re a fan of getting freaky with your sneaker colorways, your lucky days are here. Entertainment came in the form of performances by Kehlani and Kali Uchis, both of whom wow’d the crowd with intimate performances via the indoor section of the baller penthouse digs New Balance booked for the event.
