2x NBA All-Star and Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine has officially joined Team New Balance.

“New Balance is a brand that’s investing in me not just as a player but as an individual. I wanted to partner with a company that is equally passionate about supporting my interests beyond the court,” says Zach. “New Balance’s creativity is making waves across hoops and I’m excited to join a roster of athletes that aren’t afraid to approach the game in their own way.”

Prior to signing to New Balance, LaVine was an adidas athlete, signing a four-year endorsement deal back in 2017. That deal has since expired, which made LaVine a sneaker free agent throughout the 2020-21 NBA season. During this time, LaVine’s on-court footwear of choice included Nike Kobe shoes, Air Jordan Retros, and the New Balance Two WXY. He also played in the yet-to-be-released Two WXY 2 during the 2022 NBA All-Star Game.

Lavine joins a growing roster of global athletes on Team New Balance, among them being fellow NBA stars Kawhi Leonard, Jamal Murray, and Dejounte Murray. Other New Balance athletes and ambassadors include Jack Harlow, Coco Gauff, Sydney McLaughlin, and Storm Reid.

“Zach is a global star who has never been afraid to put in the hard work, on and off the court,” says Naveen Lokesh, New Balance Head of Basketball Sports Marketing. “Together New Balance and Zach will look to change the game and inspire the next generation of players.”
