When the Nike Air Foamposite One and Pro began to create major buzz a few years ago, lot’s of colorways began to flood our imaginations – which led to numerous photoshops of potential releases. If you can recall, 2009’s ‘Dirty Copper’ started an ‘Olympic Medals’ rumor which was unreal at the time and soon after, photoshops of a ‘Foamposite Medals’ pack began to surface. But it wasn’t until 2011’s ‘Pewter’ Foamposite One that made many believe that a ‘Gold’ colorway would potentially release, completing the ‘Olympic Medal’ Foamposite Set. Now, Modern Notoriety is confirming the 3rd colorway of the ‘Medals’ Pack, that will feature a gold theme to coincide with the Olympics this year. The Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Gold Medal’ is set to release this August and so far, all we have is this teaser that displays a metallic gold colorway.
