Nike is bringing back the “Metallic Red” Air Foamposite One in 2023, according to a tweet from Brendan Dunne.
The “Metallic Red” Foamposite originally released in 2012 during the height of the Foamposite craze and was re-released five years later in May of 2017. The 2023 version is expected to mirror the previous two releases with a metallic Varsity Red upper, black nubuck down the throat, a carbon fiber shank plate on the medial, Penny’s 1 Cent logo on the tongues and heels, and an icy translucent outsole.
The Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Red” is currently expected to release next summer on Nike.com and at select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
