Nike is celebrating International Women’s Day through two reimagined conceptions of their classic silhouettes, the Air Force 1 and the Air Max 90; the two are inspired by the enduring spirit of Mexican women. Celebrating strength and resilience, the two pairs harness energetic designs and vibrant colors typically seen in traditional Mexican dresses.
The brighter of the two, the Air Force 1, features a hairy suede upper with a Red Plum, Light Arctic Pink, and Wild Violet color-scheme. A touch of glitter on the tongue label and dubrae make the pair even more striking.
The Air Max 90 comes constructed in a puff print that adds texture and depth to the all-black upper. This pair also features glitter, on the eyestay, outsole, tongue label, and dubrae, and finish with a Light Arctic Pink outsole.
