Last year, Nike released a “NY vs NY” and “Drew League” Air Force 1 as a celebration of both East Coast and West Coast hoop culture. Following a reveal of this year’s “NY vs NY” offering in the form of a Dunk Low, we now have a reveal of this year’s “Drew League” Air Force 1.

The Los Angeles Drew League pro-am basketball tournament is back this summer, having been cancelled in 2020 due to COVID. The commemorative Air Force 1 comes with a white leather base and “Drew League” embroidered on the lateral heel. Inspired by LA’s sunny weather, the Swoosh and heel panel comes in a orange gradient and is covered in graphics of the scenery that surrounds urban basketball courts, such as chain-link fences and brick buildings. This orange gradient is also found on the “D” logo that dresses the tongue tag as well as the graphic insoles.

Check out official images of the Nike Air Force 1 “Drew League” below. Expect these to arrive this summer via SNKRS and select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for more info.
