Nike’s 40th anniversary celebration of the Air Force 1 features a ton of special colorways and collaborations on the model, though of course there are a ton of GR releases in the lineup as well. One of them is the Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Kentucky.”
This Air Force 1 Mid features the Wildcat-inspired blue and white “Kentucky” collegiate color blocking from the 1985 Dunk High and Jordan 1. White leather dresses the base of the upper, while blue dresses the overlays, Swoosh, and forefoot strap. The shoes comes equipped with purple laces, nodding to how the blue laces on the OG 1985 “Kentucky” (and “Royal”) Air Jordan 1 oxidize and turn purple over time.
Check out the Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Kentucky” below. Look for these to drop later this year on Nike.com and at select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
