Original Story (01/17/22): Along with the return of the Air Force 1 Mid “Independence Day,” Nike will be dropping a similar version of the silhouette in a White, Total Orange, and Ale Brown color scheme as part of the AF-1’s 40th anniversary celebration.
In case the white, red, and blue isn’t your thing, this colorway takes the “Independence Day” look and replaces the blue with metallic bronze overlays and the red jewel Swoosh and accents with hits of orange. A unique feature on this colorway is the graphic on the inside of the tongue tag of two Swoosh bodies, one wearing a cap, accompanied by the quote “Inside out or outside in, as long as you’re right within.” A sand-colored cupsole unit rounds out the design.

Update (04/15/22): Nike has announced the release of this “Ale Brown” Air Force 1 Mid. According to the brand, this colorway “aims to bring the outdoors inside and vice versa.” The brushed collar lining delivers the comfort of home, while the orange and brown colors nod to the original Nike shoe box. These drop on April 28th on SNKRS.
