Nike Air Force 1 Shadow “Goddess of Victory”

Nike continues it’s tissue wrapped theme going following the reveal of the “Timeless Classic Keep Fresh” AF1 and “Flip The Old School” Dunk Low. The “Goddess of Victory” Air Force 1 Shadow is carefully wrapped in tissue paper with the Goddess of Victory, Nike, printed in blue.

The shoe draws inspiration from Nike, the Goddess of Victory from Greek mythology that Phil Knight named the brand after in 1971. A stylized statue of the goddess covers the tissue paper in navy while the title of the sneaker is printed on the heel. When the paper is removed, the shoe’s true upper is revealed, dressed in a marble pattern that resembles a statue. A solid white midsole is sandwiched between marbled grey outsole trimming and a layered upper that features shades of marbled grey. The translucent tab on the heel also features this marbled pattern. The insoles continue the Goddess of Victory theme with graphics of the same statue that appears on the tissue paper.

An official release date has not been announced yet but the Air Force 1 Shadow “Goddess of Victory” is expected to release on nike.com sometime this spring.
