Following the return of the “Freshwater” and “Varsity Royal” colorways, the third OG colorway of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 will also be getting a release later this year in celebration of the model’s 25th anniversary.
The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Emerald” comes dressed primarily in “Freshwater” teal and black, paying homage to the MLB team where Ken Griffey Jr. spent most of his career, the Seattle Mariners. Varsity Red outlines the Swoosh logos on the heel and the pull tab on the tongue, while Griffey’s number 24 adorns the ankle strap. The upper sits atop a black sole unit outfitted with visible Air bubbles on the heel and forefoot.
Look for the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Emerald” to release later this year via SNKRS and select retailers. Check out official images below as we await further release info.
