The 30th anniversary celebration of the Air Huarache is in full effect. Kicked off earlier this year with the return of the 2000 Stüssy collab, Nike has been steadily re-releasing fan-favorite colorways of the model, including OGs such as the “Scream Green” and “Orca.” Next up on the list is the return of the OG “Magenta” colorway.
When Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Huarache three decades ago, inspiration was pulled from watersports footwear for the bootie-like construction and neoprene materials. This “Magenta” colorway takes the inspiration a step further, with neon yellow and magenta hues inspired by activities like wakeboarding and jet skiing.
The Nike Air Huarache “Magenta” will be available via SNKRS and select retailers on July 8th. Check out official images of this release down below.
