Nike Air Max 1 “Big Bubble” Sample Revealed

0

In late 2021, reports surfaced indicating that Nike would be releasing a version of the Air Max 1 with the OG “Big Bubble.” This version of the Air Max 1 mimics the early pairs of Air Max 1s that went into production in 1986, with a larger visible Air unit than the ones that hit retail the following year. We now have a look at a new sample of this “Big Bubble” Air Max 1, confirming these reports.

As expected, the Air Max 1 “Big Bubble” (aka “Big Window”) sample definitely has a larger window on the midsole as compared to a standard version of the Air Max 1. This larger window highlights the revolutionary design choice made by Tinker Hatfield that led to many great Air Max designs over the years. This specific pair is a size 7 women’s and comes murdered out in a Black and Anthracite color scheme.

Check out the Nike Air Max 1 “Big Bubble” sample below. The Nike Air Max 1 OG “Big Bubble” is expected to launch in 2023 on Nike.com and at select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
