Original Story (03/10/22): Nike has a few special Air Max 1s slated to release for Air Max Day this year in celebration of the model’s 35th anniversary. One is the Paris-themed “La Ville Lumière,” another is the Japan-inspired “Wabi-Sabi.” Evidenced by these two colorways, the love for the Air Max 1 is global. A third Air Max 1 with a “Global” theme has now surfaced, further demonstrating the silhouette’s worldwide appeal.
This Air Max 1 features mesh and leather construction and comes in a light blue and white color scheme. A grid-like pattern is found on the tongue tag, as well as on the asymmetrical Swooshes, the lateral Swoosh dressed in blue and the medial in white. Globe graphics can be found on the insoles and heels, though they focus on North America, which may indicate a region-exclusive release. Lastly the laces feature the Air Max Day date on them (3.26), while underfoot is an icy, translucent blue outsole.

Nike Air Max 1 “Blueprint”

Update (03/10/22): Nike has officially announced its Air Max 1 lineup for Air Max Day. This “Blueprint” colorway will be North America exclusive. The WMNS “La Ville Lumière” Air Max 1 will be exclusive to Europe, while the Air Max 1 PRM “Wabi-Sabi” is exclusive to Asia Pacific and Latin America.
