We’ve seen quite a few city packs via Nike within the past few months, highlighting various major cities and job industries around the world. This time around, Nike is releasing a new city pack drawing inspiration from the European likes of London and Amsterdam.
The shoes are constructed with a mix of materials and textures, including corduroy, tumbled leather, and suede. The “London” sneaker features a tasteful Smoke Grey/Valerian Blue/Dark Smoke Grey palette, a nod to the cloudy atmosphere of the city. Embroidery on the heel depicts the famous River Thames. The “Amsterdam” colorway sports Red Bark/Khaki-Terra Blush/Dusty Peach and includes an outline of the city’s canal system on the heel. References to the coat of arms are represented with Xs stamped on the laterals and tongue tag.
The Nike Air Max 1 City Pack is set to release on March 19th exclusively in Europe via Nike.com and select retailers. Those in the US can purchase the London and Amsterdam colorways via StockX. Check out the official images below.
