Original Story (03/09/22): The Nike Air Max 1 35th anniversary celebration is well underway. Following the reveal of the “La Ville Lumière,” “Wabi-Sabi,” and “Global” colorways slated to drop on Air Max Day, we now have a reveal of the Nike Air Max 1 “Treeline.”
This Air Max 1 is named “Treeline” after the shade of green that dresses the mudguard and heel, though expect the nickname “Skunk” to stick, as the combination of green and purple suede is reminiscent of the “Skunk” 4/20 SB Dunk. Besides the green and purple accents, the shoe featured khaki brown mesh and suede construction. Combined with green hiking-style laces, this release exudes an outdoor-friendly aesthetic.
