Original Story (08/19/22): The 35th anniversary celebration of the Air Max 1 is not over yet. Nike still has more special colorways on the way, including this women’s “Tour Yellow” edition.
The “Tour Yellow” Air Max 1 draws inspiration from the OG 1987 red colorway, taking the same color blocking but switching up the materials and replacing the red with yellow. The mesh uppers come in white as usual, though the grey and overlays are made of tumbled leather instead of suede. A white midsole and grey rubber outsole rounds out the design.
The WMNS Nike Air Max 1 “Tour Yellow” drops on Wednesday, August 24th at European stockists such as END. and Asphaltgold. Expect a stateside release later in the year on SNKRS and select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
