With the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 90 underway, the Swoosh celebrates with a new colorway of the beloved model dressed in what is known as “Safari” print.
The “Safari” print was first seen on the Nike Air Safari and its accompanying Nike Air Pack, which included the debut Air Max 1. Though the print was created by Tinker Hatfield in 1987, nowadays it is more associated with Nike’s collaborations with atmos. This Nike Air Max 90 features the grey and black print on the mudguard, extending onto the side panels, lace guard, and laces. The shoe comes in a black and orange color scheme, with black perforated leather on the toebox, black mesh on the collar, and a contrasting white Swoosh.
