Fifteen years ago, Nike released the Air Max Nomo, paying homage to the dominant Japanese pitcher Hideo Nomo of the L.A Dodgers. His trademark tornado released baffled hitters across the league. The Air Max NM expresses Nomo’s trademark release in the design of the shoe. The shoe’s specifications importantly begins at the bottom sole and the traction system to the innovative design of the panels. The Air Max Nomo was renamed the Air Max NM after Nomo was dropped from Nike. The classic Air Max’s are set to release next month at retailers. Be on the lookout. Via SO
