Nike Air Max Plus “Grape” Adopts OG AJ5 Colorway

0

Designed by Sean McDowell and inspired by Florida palm trees, the Nike Air Max Plus was originally released in 1998 as a performance runner. Since then, the Air Max Plus has transcended into a culturally iconic silhouette.

For this upcoming release, the Air Max Plus is outfitted in a familiar “Grape” colorway, pulled from the OG Air Jordan 5 released in 1990. The silhouette is equipped with a white mesh upper along with a purple gradient outer cage, and a black leather tongue. Other features include a white midsole with a gradient teal midfoot plate, a purple leather mudguard wrapping around the bottom of the upper, and grape graphics on the insoles.

Look for the Nike Air Max Plus “Grape” to drop in the coming months at select retailers and Nike.com. Check out official images below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for release updates.
