Nike Brings Back the 2001 Air Presto CO JP “Rainbow”

Nike is bringing back its “Rainbow” colorway of the Air Presto that features a bright gradient that covers the upper. This first appeared as a limited release exclusive to Japan in 2001. This wider release 20 years after the original brings the once ultra-rare Presto to the masses.

Now being nicknamed “Sunrise,” this Air Presto upper comes dressed in a vibrant gradient that transitions from yellow in the toe to a deep blue on the heel. Shades of orange, red, and purple make up the sunrise theme. It’s contrasted by a crisp white lining and white laces. The gradient upper is covered with a light blue lace cage that wraps all the way around the heel. The classic Air Presto midsole comes in white with an orange Swoosh and gradient dots. The midsole meets the ground with a predominately blue outsole with a touch of black at the heel.

The Nike Air Presto “Rainbow” reissue will release on nike.com and at select retailers on March 12th. The retail price is set at $130 USD.
