Last year, Nike introduced a new anime/comic book superhero theme to its sneakers with the release of the Air Force 1/1 “Nike and the Mighty Swooshers.” The theme is now carried over to another model, the Air Zoom Flight 95.
The “Mighty Swooshers” Zoom Flight 95 comes equipped with a a black nubuck upper paired with an metallic teal hexagonal texture overlay. Additional details include a 3D metallic silver Swoosh and iridescent hits on the bug eye-shaped midsole pods. Graphic novel-themed graphics appear on the outsoles, including an illustration of Swoosh Man on the shank plate. Adding to the superhero theme is special branding on the insoles that reads “Nike and the Might Swooshers” and “The Battle of Dimension Six.” Though that’s not all. The shoes also come with a miniature Swoosh Man action figure hang tag and come packaged in a special box.
