Nike Basketball Introduces the Air Zoom ‘Greater Than’ Series

0

Nike Basketball announces its new Air Zoom Greater Than (GT) Series, which helps players create space by focusing on the three most important movements of the game — running, jumping, and cutting. With this design approach, three silhouettes were created the GT Cut, for cutting and change of direction; the Air Zoom G.T. Run, for energy return and running economy; and the Air Zoom G.T. Jump, for vertical jumping and impact protection.

While each model is versatile and designed to play at the highest level, the systems in place on each shoe helps players enable special movements in their game that makes them “greater than.” This is achieved by leveraging technology, materials, and testing from Nike Running, Global Football, and previous Basketball footwear models.

Each silhouette features a new configuration of the Zoom Air Strobel that caters to the different movement types. The series kicks off with the Air Zoom G.T. Cut, which comes with a curved Zoom Air Strobel and a full React drop-in sole, designed for a low-to-the-ground sensation while maximizing stability, cushioning, and responsiveness.

The system on the G.T. Run is a unique combination that consists of a full-length Nike React sockliner, double-stacked Zoom Air in the forefoot, and a full-length Nike React midsole. The G.T. Jump maximizes verticality with a stacked Zoom Air system, full-length Zoom Air Strobel, and a high-rebounding Pebax jump frame.
