For the past 8 years, Nike and the OHSU, have been collaborating on the Doernbecher Project since 2004. The DB Project gives children that have a particular sickness an opportunity to participate in designing a Charity Sneaker. Last Years Doernbecher Project, took us by surprise as the Air Jordan 3 was chosen to be the 2010 DB Retro. This Year, The Air Jordan 4 Retro is said to be chosen and that makes it all the better; a Good Shoe for a Good Cause. The Nike Doernbecher Freestyle 2011 event kicks off on October 8th, 2011. This will be the 8th Annual Doernbecher Freestyle collection to release. The Event will be held at Portland Art Museum and you can purchase your tickets Here.
