Original Story (02/07/22): Nike is dropping a new produced-inspired “Avocado” colorway of the Dunk Low.
The “Avocado” Dunk Low comes dressed primarily in black textured leather, mimicking the outer skin of an avocado. There are hints of green peeking through the edges of the black panels, likely indicating that the black layer was designed to wear away over time to reveal a green layer underneath. A guacamole-like creamy green suede dresses the heel area, matching the sockliner and lip of the tongue. Additional features include an avocado “sticker” on the lateral side of the toe mudguard and a “Nutrition Facts” tag hidden on the inside of the tongue. The shoes comes with a couple accessories: a mesh shopping bag and an avocado-shaped hang tag.
