In 2020, Nike launched the Dunk Low Disrupt, a reconstructed version of the massively-popular Dunk silhouette designed specifically for women. Two years later, the Swoosh is gearing up to launch its sequel, the Dunk Low Disrupt 2.
The Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 features a design that is more in-line with the traditional Dunk silhouette compared to its predecessor. The standard Dunk sole unit makes its return, though a portion on the heel section has been covered by a hard heel overlay. The standout feature is probably the eyelet configuration. An extra eyelet has been added to the lateral side of the toe box, while the standard eyelets are double-layered, allowing the wearer more customization options in regards to lacing.
The first colorway of the Dunk Low Disrupt 2 to be revealed is the “Malachite,” which features an off-white canvas upper paired with green suede overlays and University Blue accents. Insole graphics include Nike Swoosh pinwheels and geometrical shapes in a mix of colors that match the colors of the three lace options.
