Original Story (04/03/21): Few sneakers have taken the world by storm the way Nike Dunks have, and next in line for the prolific silhouette are low iterations of the Michigan-inspired colorways of the Nike Dunk High that dropped last year.

Sharply resembling the “Spartan Green” High, the Nike Dunk Low “Team Green” reflects Michigan State Spartans colors, the same school attended by basketball legends Magic Johnson and Draymond Green. Overlays, Swooshes, and outsole come dressed in this MSU-inspired shade of green, while the rest of shoe features a neutral white background.

The Nike Dunk “Michigan,” remains of the most popular colorways of the 1985 original “Be True To Your School” variations. The Dunk Low features the same Varsity Maize backdrop and Midnight Navy overlays, creating the signature, perfect Wolverines pair. White midsoles create a sleek contrast, while navy outsoles brings the pair full-circle.

Both the “Team Green” and “Varsity Maize” Nike Dunk Lows are currently expected to launch in both men’s and children sizing on April 16th via Nike SNKRS and select retailers, though this release date may be pushed back. Check out both Dunks below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for up-to-date release info.
