Nike Dunk Low “Seoul” Dropping Exclusively in Korea

Nike has shown love to South Korea over the years with various releases, such as the Air Jordan 3 “Seoul,” the Air Max 95 “Mugunghwa,” and a collection made to celebrate the South Korea national soccer team. Now, the Swoosh is honoring the country once again with its own Nike Dunk Low.

The Nike Dunk Low “South Korea” features the colors of the Taegeukgi, the South Korean national flag (white, black, red, blue), and a mismatching design between the left and right shoe to express the yin and yang of the Taeguek pattern. Both shoes in the pair come with a shiny white patent leather base (representing Korea’s ‘white coat people’ that strive for peace) and black leather overlays, while the left shoe features red Swooshes and the right shoe comes with blue ones. The heel tabs and translucent outsoles on each shoe come in the opposite color. A South Korean flag appears on the left shoe’s tongue tag, while a standard Nike Swoosh design appears on the right shoe. Another detail is Nike spelled out phonetically in Korean characters on the heel panels. As a final touch, Gungongamri from the country’s flag are printed on the aglets on the equipped white laces as well as the extra red and blue ones.

Check out the upcoming Nike Dunk Low “South Korea” below. Expect these to arrive later this year via SNKRS and select retailers. As always, stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates on this release.
