Alongside a massive lineup of forward-thinking footwear, the Nike ISPA team have unveiled their apparel plans for the late summer/early fall season.
The collection includes women’s shorts, a women’s bodysuit, a unisex top, and unisex pants. The shorts, a hypermodern take on Nike’s classic Tempo running shorts, involve a cropped length and increased ventilation for hot weather wear. The bodysuit, too, is designed with data-driven sweat and heatmapping of athletes in mind (similar to the ISPA Overreacts pressure-mapped cushioning system,) offering tuned mesh ventilation for airflow in high output areas.
A data-driven mesh motif carries over to the ISPA L/S Dri-FIT top, which has “salvaged mesh and Nike Dri-FIT panels” strategically placed and seamed for ventilation in the late summer heat. Finally, the Nike ISPA Pant provides a futuristic twist on punk rock and extreme sports gear, offering both abrasion-resistant and high-stretch paneling for durable and unforgettable comfort.
Also notable is the ISPA Inflate Jacket, a new twist on Nike’s legendary ACG Airvantage jacket from 2006 that used user-inflated air bladders between the inner and outer fabrics to provide highly adaptable insulation.
While the Inflate Jacket released globally back on March 13th, the rest of the Nike ISPA apparel is set to hit shelves on July 9th, 2020. Take a look at styled shots of the gear down below and be sure to read up on the accompanying lineup of footwear releases.
