NIKE, Inc. Unveils NBA All-Star 2022 Uniforms

As part of the NBA’s 75th anniversary season, Nike, Inc. has unveiled its full lineup of uniforms for All-Star 2022 in Cleveland. For the first time in league history, All-Star Weekend will include uniforms by all three NIKE, Inc. brands: Nike, Jordan Brand, and Converse.

The All-Star Game itself will be outfitted by Jordan Brand for the fifth consecutive year, while Nike will outfit the Clorox Rising Stars players. The Ruffles All-Star Celebrity Game uniforms were created in collaboration with young designers from Converse community-partner organizations. All uniforms are made with a new Trilobal “Iridescent Shine” yarn that creates a color-shift effect at different angles of light.

Jordan Brand 2022 NBA All-Star Game Uniforms

As this is the NBA’s diamond anniversary season, the colors of the Jordan Brand All-Star Game uniforms are drawn from the silver, prismatic shine of a diamond against the blue and red of the NBA logo. The blue also nods to Lake Erie, while the red hue chosen nods to the hometown Cavs.

Nike Clorox Rising Stars Uniforms

This year, the Clorox Risings Star Challenge features a new format consisting of four seven-player teams competing in a three-game mini tournament. Each team gets their own Nike-designed uniform, with the colors and details following a similar diamond and Cleveland-inspired theme.

Converse Ruffles Celebrity Game Uniforms

The Celebrity Game uniforms inspired are inspired by the stylistic cultural differences between the West and the East. The West uniforms were designed by 13-year-old Nestor “Lil Nes” Hernandez of the Boyle Heights Arts Conservatory. It features a colorful ’90s-style trim that incorporates pop culture from the era. The East uniforms were designed by 18-year-old Abel Teclemariam of Boston’s The Possible Zone. It features a street art theme with words likes “Gritty” and “Tenacious” over the names of the cities repped in the Eastern Conference.
