Original Story (05/12/21): Though the partnership between Nike and the estate of Kobe Bryant has expired, it look like there are still some remaining Nike Kobe releases on the calendar. Just unveiled is the Kobe 6 Protro “Mamba Forever,” a tribute to Kobe and his daughter Gigi.
The Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Mamba Forever” comes in a mostly black color scheme with white accents. A “2” is stamped in gold on the lateral heel, the jersey number worn by Gigi before her passing. The names “Kobe” and “Gigi” on the back of the heels add another touch of gold, placed below the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation logo.
