Original Story (04/07/21): Originally a Player Exclusive colorway made just for LeBron James, the Nike LeBron 8 “Hardwood Classic” is now getting a public release for the first time ever.
Not to be confused with the “Lakers” iteration that released late last year with the same name, this Nike LeBron 8 comes in a blue and orange color scheme that pays homage to the Hardwood Classic jerseys of LeBron’s first NBA team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. James first revealed this colorway in 2011, making this release part of the 10th anniversary celebration of the LeBron 8 that also includes the release of the beloved “South Beach” colorway.
The Nike LeBron 8 “HWC,” officially called “Blue and Orange” by Nike, releases on April 14th via SNKRS and select retailers.
Update (04/13/21): The release of the Nike LeBron 8 “HWC” has been rescheduled to April 28th.
