The Fairfax Lions are getting an homage of epic proportions this year through the official release of the Nike LeBron VII in “Fairfax.” The colorway will hit retailers for the first time next week, originally seen as a PE a decade ago (original design shown below).
Drawing inspiration from the Fairfax Lions’ “Away” jerseys, the silhouette comes dressed in Black and Varsity Red. The former coats the upper while the latter accents the laces, Swooshes, and full-length Air Max units. Varsity Maize makes an appearance on the tongue branding and outline of the Swoosh, as well as through the Flywire and LeBron branding. Along the heel’s medial side you can see “Fairfax” to emphasize the high school. A “Home” rendition of the shoe features a contrasting white silhouette, though there is no news on that version getting a retro release.
You can cop a pair of the Nike LeBron VII “Fairfax” when they release March 6th for $200 USD.
