This season’s collection features a Nike N7 x Pendleton pattern created by Nike designer Tracie Jackson. The pattern was inspired by the traditional Navajo rugs weaved by her great-grandmother, Phoebe Nez.
The colors used in the collection are inspired by the natural dyes used by the Navajo people. Color inspirations include the platinum of sheep’s wool, the light redwood of Mt. Mahogany Root, the golden suede of Greenthread flower, and other flora from the American Southwest.
Aside from footwear, this season’s N7 collection includes apparel, such as hoodies, leggings, shirts, and jogging pants. Participating college teams will wear the long-sleeve crew in the collection over their uniforms in select games through November.
The collection also includes the N7 x Pendleton 7 Generations blanket, which is covered in Jackson’s Navajo-inspired design.
Check out the footwear included in the collection below. The N7 Collection releases on November 7th at select retailers and Nike.com in both men’s and women’s sizing. You can learn more about the inspiration behind the collection here.
