Nike Sportswear has announced a new Recycled Canvas Pack, the latest stop in the brand’s “Move to Zero” journey towards zero carbon and zero waste.
The pack includes sustainable takes on classic Nike silhouettes: the Air Force 1, Air Max 90, Air Max 95, Daybreak and Nike Cortez. Each come with recycled canvas uppers made from yarn derived of post-industrial Nike textile waste. Along with the Flyleather swooshes and backtabs that are made from at least 50% leather fibers, recycled foam tongues and laces are used throughout the collection. The Nike Cortez and Daybreak-Type models both use the Crater Foam midsoles that were introduced with the brand’s Space Hippie footwear.
