Nike Roshe Run Hi – New Colorways

Nike has been going Roshe crazy lately, and what started as a colorway fest has turned into a crossover into new silhouettes, and their initial offerings are quite off putting as far as I am concerned. This Hi-top formation takes the acceptable Mid-top look too far, and the way in which it was executed doesn’t reassure me of the design principles behind it. These feel more like an attempt to get more out of the Roshe line than a genuine, necessity driven release. The colorways are still on point at least, coming in some classic Roshe looks such as Sport Red, Black/Sail and Tarp Green/Volt, a plus for those who can get past the silhouette. While the design raises flags, the ultra-comfortable Roshe with some added ankle support might actually be a comfort revolution, but the toll on the overall design shouldn’t be so drastic. No news on when these will be hitting shelves, but for better or worse we’ll keep you updated via our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. More photos after the jump.
