Following the release of the Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 “NYC to Paris” and “LA to Chicago”, Nike Skateboarding and Jordan Brand will be reuniting to release a pack of Air Jordan 1 Lows. One pair of the pack will release in a “Dark Powder Blue/Dark Powder Blue/White” colorway, while the second pair will sport a “Midnight Navy/Metallic Silver/White” color scheme. The pack will release in collaboration with Nike SB pro skater Eric Koston.
The “Midnight Navy” colorway features a white leather upper with suede overlays and a metallic silver Swoosh. Its defining feature is the red miniature Jumpman logo stitched onto the toe box, which pays tribute to the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1. This colorway was inspired by a pair of Air Jordan 1s owned by one of Nike’s first skateboard signees, Gino Iannucci, before Nike SB even existed. Iannucci showed that pair to Koston, who decided to revisit the colorway nearly 20 years later.
Look for the Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Low “Midnight Navy” to drop on June 14, 2019 at select retailers and Nike.com at a retail price of $110.
