Nike SB and Jordan Brand are teaming up once again, this time to release a collaborative edition of the Air Jordan 4.
Jordan and Nike’s skating division first linked in 2014 on the release of the Craig Stecyk Air Jordan 1 and Lance Mountain Air Jordan 1s. These were followed in 2019 by the Air Jordan 1 “NYC to Paris” and “LA to Chicago,” two Eric Koston Air Jordan 1 Lows, and a Lance Mountain-inspired Air Jordan 1 Low.
The series continues in 2023 with a Nike SB x Air Jordan 4. These are expected to feature Nike SB branding on the heels instead of the Jumpman or Nike Air. They will also likely incorporate Zoom cushioning for more impact absorption needed for skateboarding. Eric Koston recently revealed a weartest SB Jordan 4 sample which comes in all-black suede. Weartest samples usually come in all-black, so it is unclear what colorway the final version will release in.
The Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 is expected to release March 2023 at local skate shops and on SNKRS. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
