Portland brand The Killing Floor is linking with Nike SB to present an apparel collection. The ensemble combines both brands’ philosophies of finding everyday beauty and creating high-quality skate gear.
Inspired by the abstract, the collection compiles four items: a t-shirt, windbreaker jacket, fleece hoodie and flatbill hat. Because The Killing Floor takes inspiration from the blues, it’s only fitting that the capsule meshes modern psychedelia with angular color blocking. The final result is a “visual playlist inspired by roots, tempo and tone.”
The Killing Floor was founded by John Vitale in 2009. It aims to produce pieces with skateboard-forward graphics, artistic concepts and quality craftsmanship. In the same way that skateboarding has its rhythm and flow, so follows the brand’s goal to reflect it in its pieces.
The Killing Floor x Nike SB collection will be available on TKF’s website on May 14th at 10AM PT, followed by a May 15th release at select skateshops and May 19th on SNKRS.
