Although skateboarding’s Olympic debut has been postponed due to COVID-19, Nike SB is still moving forward with some of its Olympic-themed releases that were planned for the year, including the new “Tokyo 2020 Olympics” Pack.
Comprised of four models — the Nyjah Free 2, Bruin React, Shane, and Janoski Slip — each come dressed in Summit White with Racer Blue and Pink Blast accents to match the Piet Parra-designed Olympics kits, notably the USA and France team kits.
Nyjah Huston’s ‘Nyjah Free 2’ features gradient pink and blue on the sock liners with matching lateral Swoosh. Shane O’Neal’s signature ‘Shane’ model features a crisp suede with minimal pink and blue branding along with a pink heel tab. The Bruin React consists of gradient heel tabs and a blue Swoosh outline on top of the model’s grey suede Swoosh. To finalize the pack, the Janosko Slip features embroidered Swooshes — blue on the laterals and a pink outline version on the medials. To pay tribute to the Tokyo Olympics, the coordinates of where the games will be held are stamped on the midsole of each of the shoes.
