Nike’s latest “Move To Zero” campaign has sparked the creation of many new sustainable silhouettes such as the VaporMax 2020 FK and Jordan Crater. Leading the pack, however, is Nike’s Space Hippie collection, made up of four models simply named 01, 02, 03, and 04. Following its debut colorway and a “Volt” follow-up, an upcoming “Black Copper” colorway of the Space Hippie 01 has surfaced.
While the first two Space Hippie collections used Wolf Grey as the main color on its uppers, the “Black Copper” edition comes dressed primarily in a dark graphite, almost black color, with metallic copper yarn used for both the lateral and medial Swoosh. The upper is constructed with “Space Waste Yarn” that’s made up of 85% recycled polyester. The sole unit is also eco-friendly, utilizing both recycled ZoomX foam and Crater Foam, a blend of standard Nike foams and Nike Grind Rubber.

Update: This colorway, officially called “Wheat White,” has landed on Nike SNKRS with an August 20th release date.
