Nike will be releasing a Vapormax for the upcoming Black History Month collection set to debut soon. The traditional series that pays homage to African American heritage kicked off back in the mid 2000’s and continues to date, bringing awareness to black achievement through sport.
Seen here is one of the first silhouettes that have surfaced, the Nike Vapormax. The model features a black and grey upper alongside red and green pods on the outsole. The heel reads 8/20/1993 which is the date Colin Jackson broke the record for the most hurdles ever done. No word on the release date yet but these will most likely drop in February. Stay tuned with Modern Notoriety for a release date on the Nike Vapormax “BHM”.
