How to Cop Nike’s Highly-Limited Retro Jigsaw Puzzles

While jigsaw puzzles have spent decades upon decades entertaining people, they’ve taken on a new role during the global pandemic in helping people stay sharp and entertained while safely social distancing. They’re relatively inexpensive, offer an entertaining challenge at your own pace, and come in all kinds of themes and offer a wide range of difficulty options; however, a sudden spike in demand has left some customers in search of brain training with slim pickings.

Nike has swooped in to help with a highly limited set of puzzles based on their legendary vintage print advertisements. Comprised of nine different puzzles showcasing a range of the Swoosh’s ’70s and ’80s marketing campaigns, each puzzle is individually numbered and limited to 325 sets, save for the “Be True to Your School” Dunk Hi ad which sits at a slightly more generous 1,225. The puzzles showcase old magazine advertisements for the Air Force 1 High, Dunk High, Waffle Racer, and more.

These are likely to become sought-after collectors items, but you won’t be able to purchase them outright—sneaker boutiques worldwide are individually deciding how to raffle them off or give them away. We’ve compiled a list of known shops participating in the puzzle release down below as well as pictures of some of the sets. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for more updates on more ways to try to cop the sets, as we’ll be updating the list as more shops announce their release procedures.
