Continuing a partnership which kicked off with the “Time In” Nite Jogger, adidas and Ninja are back with a collaboration on the classic Superstar. Though probably coincidental, this adidas collab comes at a perfect time for Ninja, as the professional gamer has just made his return to Twitch for the first time since the shut down of the competing streaming platform Mixer.
This Superstar is dressed in white leathers with a bold blue trim on the Three Stripes and eyestays. The heelcap is covered in a matching blue leather with contrasting white adidas branding, while gold foil “Superstar” branding has been changed to read “Ninja” on the lateral side of each shoe. The pair comes with a unique set of lace deubres; one reads “Time in” while the other has a Ninja motif. While the outer sides of each shoe are left as a clean white, the inner side is covered in light grey printed digital-inspired patterns. The shoe sits atop an opaque, ice-blue outsole.
The Ninja x adidas Superstar is set to release on adidas UK Webstore on August 8th and will be followed by a stateside release on August 19 via adidas.com for a retail price of $130 USD.
