As part of its Spring/Summer 2022 collection, Noah is launching a special collaboration with Popeye the Sailor Man. The NY-based fashion label and the popular cartoon character come together to express their mutual love for the water.
Ever since debuting in a King Features comic strip in 1929 during the Great Depression, Popeye has been well received by the public as a stand-up-for-yourself character. The collaboration with Noah includes a range of apparel and accessories, headlined by Bedale wax jackets as part of Noah’s ongoing partnership with UK-based brand Barbour. The collection also features a range of Popeye and Olive Oyl graphic tees, striped long sleeves, work pants, and hats. Accessories add to the nautical theme with items like towels and a clam knife. Also includes is a pillow, keychains, and a ceramic incense chamber, all sporting a Popeye design.
This collaboration was unveiled today in honor of World Water Day, created to raise awareness to the 2 billion on the planet living without access to safe water. Noah will be donating a portion of proceeds from its Popeye collaboration to Waterkeeper Alliance, the largest and fastest-growing nonprofit solely focused on clean water.
The Noah x Popeye collection is set to release on Thursday, March 24th at 11 am ET via the Noah website and the label’s stores in New York City, Amagansett, Tokyo, and Osaka.
