NOAH x Vans Style 24 LX Celebrates Venice Beach’s Curbs

0

Vans is no stranger to thrusting old shoes back into the spotlight. Such is the case with the Style 24 LX, an 80s skate shoe that will undergo a modern upgrade but maintain its curb-enthusiasm with the help of NOAH.

The shoe will actually see a double transformation, as two versions will be available. Each takes homage to Venice Beach and its curbs, a popular and massively influential skateboarding location. The first comes with a bright red upper printed with black camouflage. The other iteration is set on a white base with the same camouflage pattern. The rubber toe guards and midsoles allow riders to grasp their board while maintaining durability, as opposed to the canvas counterpart. The camouflage was purely intentional as it nods to 80s fashion worn by multiple Vans skaters. Additional co-branding takes its place on the tongue to round off the design.

The NOAH x Vans Style 24 LX colorways will drop exclusively at NOAH locations and on the NOAH webstore starting April 8th. Catch a closer look at both styles below.
