In 2002, Jordan Brand introduced a new model called the Nu’ Retro Air Jordan 1, a modified version of the Air Jordan 1 Low with a bit of design elements from the Air Jordan 2 sprinkled in. Twenty years later, the Nu’ Retro Air Jordan 1 is slated to make its return.
The Nu’ Retro Air Jordan 1 is best known for its signature debossed Wings logo across the two large panels on the lateral side. Other design elements include a Jumpman logo on the back heel, midsoles with a split between the heel and forefoot, and modified outsoles with a translucent section on the forefoot.
A release date for the Nu’ Retro Air Jordan 1 has yet to be announced, though expect them to drop later this year. In the meantime, check out the 2002 Nu’ Retro Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” below. You can find ’00s-era pairs now on Mercari, eBay, GOAT, and StockX.
