Opening Ceremony and Vans are no strangers as they’ve been collaborating since 2014. However, for the first time in their 7 years of partnership, Opening Ceremony x Vans Authentic’s February capsule will be launching globally. The capsule will include two signature models of footwear, apparel, and accessories.
Featuring two styles of signature Vans Authentic models and two colorways for each, Opening Ceremony redesigns the brand’s classic checkerboard for the first. Coming in a black and a red colorway, the classic checkerboard design has been reimagined and turned into an abstract snake and leopard pattern, with the leopard pattern also making its way onto a matching jacket, pants, and tote bag. The shoes also feature an Opening Ceremony patch on the heel.
The second style comes in the Authentic QLT, featuring a quilted vamp, lateral stitching, and the same woven Opening Ceremony patch mentioned above on the heel. It will release in a blue and a pink colorway.
The Opening Ceremony x Vans Authentic February capsule will release on February 19th globally via Vans stores, Vans.com, and select retailers, with each footwear style priced at $70 USD.
