Before we got the Air Jordan 1 “Banned” there was the original Air Jordan 1. The shoe that started it all was no stranger to controversy as every knows by now, and the the sneaker brought on a revolution for basketball footwear. Getting opportunities to snag shoes from 1985 don’t come by often so to see them pop up in decent condition is always a treat. The leather construction and high cut are both on point and were reasons why the shoes carried a $65 price tag back in ’85. With the original Jordan “Wings” logo on the lateral side and a very noticeable Nike Air tongue tag, nothing screams OG more than a pair of black and red Air Jordan 1’s.
