Following their inaugural collaboration last year, Palace Skateboards and Mercedes-AMG extend their partnership with a second installment for Spring 2022. This time around, the two present four one-of-one art cars as well as a second co-branded collection.

The art cars are inspired by London, Los Angeles, New York, and Tokyo, the cities where the four Palace flagship stores are located. The A 45 S “Tiger London” features a white tiger head on the bonnet and a large AMG emblem on the sides of the car, paying homage to the custom car scene in the UK in the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. The SL 63 4MATIC+ “Sunset LA” represents the perpetual Californian summer with paintwork that shimmers between bright yellow and deep red. The color scheme of the GT 63 4MATIC+ “Neon Fade New York” transitions from black to neon yellow, representing the the two sides of the megacity on the Hudson River. Lastly, the G 63 “Space Horse Tokyo” has a horse galloping through space on the vehicle’s flank, paying tribute to the fantasy culture so popular in Japan.

The accompanying 23-piece collection includes pants, hoodies, jackets, vests, beanies, and caps, all stylistically geared towards a workwear aesthetic for a ‘motor mechanic’ look. The collection celebrates this style as everyday fashion and not just for functional purposes. There are also four gradient tees that match the paint jobs on the four cars.

The Palace x AMG 2.0 collection launches on Friday, March 25th at Palace locations and on the Palace website. Check out the art cars and apparel collection below.
